Unknown Army Aviation-Transportation insignia "Sustinere"

I was hoping someone might recognize this distinctive insignia and be able to identify it. This much I know. The unit was probably stationed in Germany, possibly in or around Mannheim, and it is possibly from the 1960s. I have looked on line using various search terminology but never hit on anything.
