MWalsh Posted October 4, 2015 #4 Posted October 4, 2015 I think the first one might be from the pre WW2 34th Division, either Minnesota, Iowa, or South Dakota National Guard?
MWalsh Posted October 4, 2015 #5 Posted October 4, 2015 I was thinking that based on the background shield, but not sure.
1SG_1st_Cav Posted October 4, 2015 #6 Posted October 4, 2015 #1 is for the 32nd Tank Company. #2 is for the Fort Ord MEDDAC [aka Hospital]. #3 is for the 390th Infantry Regiment.
DHolly Posted October 4, 2015 #7 Posted October 4, 2015 From looking at the ASMIC Charge Catalog the second one is Fort Ord Hospital or MEDDAC Fort Ord and the last one is the 390th Regiment. The only thing I could find close to the first one is the 46th Replacement Company. However ASMIC lists that one as having a rectangular shield. Oddly enough all the rest of the DIs with gold Griffins are listed as being on hexagonal shields. Dave
JerseyDevil117 Posted October 4, 2015 Author #8 Posted October 4, 2015 thanks guys, these will be listed on ebay soon if anyone is interested.
atb Posted October 5, 2015 #9 Posted October 5, 2015 I think the first is for a unit of the post-WW2 46th Infantry Division.
