This was found with in the guys Grandfathers things. May have served in the Philippines.

63rd Tank Battlion.

Not active during WWII it's predecessor was the 745th Tank Battalion and was in the ETO, 63rd Tk Bn first activated 10 October 1948 in Germany and assigned to the 1st Inf Div on Occupation Duty. It's DI is adopted 31 July 1950.

 

Question: Was your father a Tanker during WWII in the Philippines? and was he recalled for service during the Korean War?
