Delta1on1 Posted September 23, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 23, 2015 Here is my remake of the ever so rare T14 photographer's helmet. I mainly do combat photographer when reenacting and encountered the same issue with the brim blocking my camera. This helmet was made from two post WWII helmets as I didn't want to ruin two good helmets if the project failed. There are some minor differences between mine and originals and I hope to correct them when making another one. The following pictures are from start to finish. capa Posted September 23, 2015 Share #7 Posted September 23, 2015 For us photogs, the Holy Grail of helmets! Outstanding job. I'll take two Will you be marking them permanently as altered or should the rear seams give future collectors the clue that they need?
Delta1on1 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Share #8 Posted September 23, 2015 Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I had no intention of producing more really other than for myself. The rear seam should be a giveaway, but also the different shape that these helmets have. I hope any I make are not deemed original and sell for such.
