Thanks a lot for the words of encouragement guys! Nothing crazy through the doors yet. We did make a nice German purchase and another for some Japanese items.

I did purchase this yearbook, which is ID'd to the man above the patch in the second picture. His uniforms may be next.

Cant be to many of these around!

Congrats Jay, I wish you the best of luck! Now that you and Karl are partners does that mean no more Summer Vacation Mlitaria? Scott

Thanks Scott!

And no, SVM is still alive and going strong, separate from Army Antiques. If you are ever up this way, give me a call and stop in!

Well, we are about a month and a half in so far. Definitely a learning process! Seems like we make a tweak of some sort every day. We have had some neat walk ins so far, a little bit of everything! Still waiting on a cool M1 helmet for my buddy Troy, but we have had a little bit of everything else so far!

I thought you guys would enjoy a virtual tour of the store that i put together recently. Music provided by 70's Detroit garage band, "the Rockets"

one of the estate sale company owners who does antique shows has told me this numerous times.

Glad you liked the music Scott! I spent a lot of time searching for a good tune from a Detroit band. Not something we hear every day. If you are ever up this way, give me a ring and stop in the store! We had a nice 32nd DIv group come in over the course of a couple of weeks.

Oh for sure. I worked to hard, and like my day (or in my case nights) job way to much to give it up! Maybe in about 15 years.
