WW2 Airborne Cochrane boot laces? question?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a picture of the correct boot laces. I have seen the typical cloth boot laces & leather laces, which I believe are replacements of the originals? I am looking for a pair of the cloth laces which are very long...Thanks for your input. David

I have an original Lace that came with my boots. Its a string of rawhide leather. The boots were issued originally with leather laces, not cloth. To replace them, I simply bought some leather string from the craft store and made new laces. I oiled them to add color and help the new laces match the worn leather boots.

Crapgame: His name is Kelly. Used to be a Lieutenant, pretty good one too-

until someone gave him orders to attack the wrong hill. Wiped out half a company of GI's...

Somebody had to get the blame so he got picked....

Oddball (Laughing): Oh man, I don't like officers...

Crapgame (Laughing): Neither does he, so relax!
