M42 Jump Jacket and Pants

Hi. I'm new to the forum. I've been collecting military itemshttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/11/02823ec1afb4ae993e7308a8fb66d005.jpg for about 6-7 years. I thought I'd share one of the nicest US items I've found. I bought this set on Craigslist about a year ago from the son of a 508th PIR vet. He was attached to the 82nd Airborne during the war.

From what I've read about M42 jackets (which isn't much) I've heard some have "original" or "replaced" zippers. How can you tell the difference?
