I recently found a 6-part podcast from the Minnesota Historical Society that shows the best ways to preserve clothing for long term storage. It shows the materials needed, how to store items on hangars and boxes, and flat storage techniques. I found it easy to understand and I took detailed notes so I can procure the right materials. I thought the series was user friendly and I think we could all benefit from understanding the best ways to keep our historic uniforms and fabric items preserved for many years to come.
