SKIPH Posted September 7, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2015 Attended the funeral service yesterday, 6 Sep 15, of my former SGM Leroy N. Carlson. Leroy had participated in the Son Tay Raid Nov 21, 1970, where he received a Silver Star. The service was small, but was attended by 7 other Son Tay Raiders, most of whom I was acquainted, or served with over the years. Plus a bunch of other former SF folks who were friends, and Leroy's family. He was a great soldier, and excellent to work for. He took good care of us, his troops. See you in the "Here after Leroy!".
