doyler Posted September 6, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2015 Found this crate in a shop and nearly over looked it but saw the end of the box with the cresent moon.If it would have been setting on the other end I would have not seen the marking.Seeing it I felt the need to rescue it from a life of plastic flowersfake fruit and potpourri....Im sure the artist felt it was a item wort giving a country look to.seems the norm these days any bx has to be "improved" with linseed oil or craft paint Anyway it is what it is and the crates dont show up often

sundance Posted September 12, 2015 Share #6 Posted September 12, 2015 I take it that the bar was added as a handle - correct? I really like all old wood boxes especially the ones with finger joints. I grab them when I can.

Chief Bast Posted September 12, 2015 Share #8 Posted September 12, 2015 Great save and addition to the ration collection, Ron! On the bright side, with all that potpourri, I'm sure the crate smells better now.
