doyler Posted September 6, 2015 Share #4 Posted September 6, 2015 Appears to be a 5th Air Force patch on the left sleeve. If all original you may start looking at aircraft in bomb groups associated with 5th AF.
usaaf93 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks Doyler. Yes it is from the 5th air force and there is a squadron patch of the 64th BS on the front too. Even with this I found no information

TBMflyer Posted September 6, 2015 Share #7 Posted September 6, 2015 I believe the aircraft is named "Engine Trouble" You are reading the 'eve' part which I believe is the arrowhead-there are two arrows in the name. That being said, I couldn't find that name in any of my books. Hope this helps some, Mark
38Driver Posted September 6, 2015 Share #8 Posted September 6, 2015 It appears someone was asking the same question on the 43rd BG site regarding this jacket a while back with no luck.
usaaf93 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Share #9 Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks for your help. You must be right Mark I think the "eve" is just the arrowhead
