hirsca Posted September 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 5, 2015 Estate sale find. Looks to be a 1944 version if the AF44 in the serial number means that. Big surprise is what's in it---the original film canister with film intact. I'll only post a few of the many pictures that I have taken. If you would like to see more, I will comply. Enjoy, thanks, Al

hirsca Posted September 5, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted September 5, 2015 Nice one Al !!! lucky guy !!! Thanks LB. I'm especially pleased that it came with the film cartridge in such good shape. Good label and matching black crackle finish with the camera no less! Al

Good one! Different generations have different meanings...LOL Since the film cartridge was not sealed around the edge with tape like it normally would have been, I'm sure that it has been exposed to ambient light by previous owners. I guess that I could take it to a film processor to see if there were any images on it if they still have the processing formulas for that type of vintage film. Flightpath Posted September 9, 2015 Share #7 Posted September 9, 2015 Nice, some film magazines are green with "PROPERTY OF US GOVERNMENT" instead of Kodak.
