Back in the late 90s my daughter and two of her friends were in AP History. They participated in a statewide event called history day. Thier "project" was a WASP pilot by the name of Mickey Axton. She was absolutely fantastic in helping the girls learn about her story and the WASPs. She was there for thier presentation and let them use her uniform and other bits of hers.

Needless to say it was a wonderful experience for my daughter...and Dad didn't mind driving and getting to sit in on thier interview with Mickey.

Some amazing women, no doubt.
