I have seen a number of posting over the past couple of weeks of 91st Division groups. Since this Division is one of my favorites I though I would list a couple of my examples.

First is 1st LT Ray Dumett (later 2nd LT) of the 346th Machine Gun Battalion of the 91st Division. He won the Belgium Croix De Guerre w/ Palm for fighting in Belgium around Flanders. Group included paperwork, tunic, helmet and citation

My last 91st Division Grouping is of Gilbert Straabe of the 361st Infantry Company D of the 91st Division. Straabe won the DSC on October 3rd 1918. Grouping includes a tunic, DSC certificate, picture of Gilbert in studio after receiving the DSC wearing tunic, picture of Gilbert with other vets after having received the DSC. lastly is his DSC (might have been a replacement). hope you enjoy.

My Great-Uncle was with Co. 'K' 361st Inf. I've got his Victory Medal some documentation and two "yard longs' and this individual picture of him. The Oregon State Medal I added to the group.

Great 91st Division jackets and items pictured here!

As a proud native of the northwest, the first uniform grouping I ever bought in undergrad was a WWI 91st jacket and gas mask, identified to a soldier named Brison from the 363rd HQ; he hailed from California if I remember my research correctly. I have constructed a display around this jacket and every year bring it in to my classroom to teach WWI through the lens of the 91st and also the more local 32nd ID.
