Few Flea Market Finds Yesterday

Recommended Posts

I found this airborne overseas cap with ordnance piping. I'm guessing post war but don't know for sure. The lining inside is yellow with a faint stamping of what looks like BRICKS ARMY STORES.

I found this woodland camouflage shirt with all of the patches still intact and got it real cheap so I didn't examine it real carefully until I got it home. The top two pockets were sewn shut and the bottom pockets had the buttons removed and replace with black Velcro. What I didn't notice was the stenciling on the back. Maybe some sort of paint ball club.

Well, as long as you display the shirt from the front, it looks great! It does make me wonder about the authenticity of the name tape though.

That is what I thought too but the weathering and laundering seems to match the US Army tape.
