Are these U.S. Aviators goggles?

Got these in a big lot where I bought the remaining inventory of a business that was a combo militaria shop, costume shop and theater prop shop so they had a bit of everything.

 

No marking on the boxes. Some lenses are marked "inflammable" and some of yen foam pads have numbers as shown.

they almost look like repro German goggles?

That is a possibility,there was other Repro German stuff in the mix, although if so they went to a lot of trouble to get slightly different styles of cans and age them for what was mostly prop/costume use.

French. Came out in the surplus market about 25 years ago.

With the French lead I was able to figure out the maker- they still make them with the same style frame and bridge and I bet the lenses would fit, so if anyone else finds themselves with some here is the maker:
