patches Posted September 10, 2015 #10 Posted September 10, 2015 Hi, Best picture of this DUI Orber Manufacturing Co., Pawtucket, RI. Ah ha, that's much better. O-1 is the 1954-65 code for Orber, Orber Manufacturing Co., Pawtucket, RI.
Steve B. Posted September 10, 2015 #11 Posted September 10, 2015 33rd Armored Regiment. Most likely post-WWII. The earlier 33rd DUIs have a different shape, and don't have all the extra curlicue embellishments. Most of the 33rd DUIs with the extra embellishments are German-made Cold War era. I do have a couple of I-O marked with the checkerboard back, but they are clutchback, not pinback. Nice find! Now I have one more to look for!
Napo39 Posted September 10, 2015 Author #12 Posted September 10, 2015 Thanks a lot. It is the presence of the pin who asked me the problem
