Brodys Collection Posted August 19, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2015 I purchased these grenade they were both repainted green but after rubbing them with a Brillo pad I was able to bring back some of the original blue paint. The pineapple grenade is missing the spoon but I tried the newer M228 fuze but it does not fit. The bottom hole is slanted for the cork and it has the blue paint under the green. It also is marked RFX and has the number 3 on the other side. The lemon grenade has the blue practice paint, has an m205a2 fuze, beveled bottom, and the newer fuzes dont fit either, marked RFX55 them R7 My questions are do you guys think these are real or repros and if the pineapple is real what kind of fuze spoon should I purchase to make it complete. And also what era do you guys think these are from.

hink441 Posted August 19, 2015 Share #8 Posted August 19, 2015 Those look like real practice grenades. Somebody has painted them to look like HE grenades. Nice grenades!! You need an M205A1 fuze for the pineapple (M21) grenade. Here is a picture of the fuze. Chris
