Japanese Grenade Lamps

Pair of Japanese Grenades made into lamps.

 

The paper lable with vets name was found rolled up in one of the lamp sockets

These are pretty unique lamps. You mostly find them made from arty shells, but I've never seen 'em made with pacific war objects. Truly unique and to be honest the grenades look great as lamp bases. I found an Everett E Knutson that was enlisted in the national guard before WWII. His service number was 20651122. I don't know if this is your guy or not but may very well be.
