Help Needed Please DUI with Jefferson head and Virginia State motto

I thought this would be an easy ID since it had a motto, but I've spent hours searching and cannot find a thing on it. Even in TIOH.

 

Enamel crest with head of Thomas Jefferson and VA state Motto SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS.

 

I check Virginia College ROTC and High School JROTC programs too....

 

Can anyone help please?

The DI is for the University of Virginia ROTC..

 

"Gold bust of Lafayette on a blue shield"

 

The bust image is of Lafayette not Jefferson

Well there you go! I keyed on the image being Jefferson...looked just like the profile on the US Nickel.

 

I can't thank you enough for your help. I am embarrassed to think of the hours I spent chasing a crest from Virginia with Jefferson on it.

 

I can't shout loud enough about the grand amount of knowledge on this forum and how the members here are so willing to help and share.
