FT.Monmouth1943 Posted August 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2015 Recently I picked up what I believe to be a Japanese made Marine patch. It was relatively cheap so I purchased it. Next is a Vietnamese made Captains ball cap with the name Howes and what I believe are aviator wings. Last is what I hope is a set of beogam fatigues. After looking at the beogam topic, I believe these are ciso made, but after finding two .22's in the pockets I'm fearing that I may have purchased some 60's civilian hunting clothes. If they do turn out to be civilian, than it's an expensive lesson learned. All comments are welcome. Also, it's hard to see in the photos but it has the metal 13 star buttons. mhk Posted August 16, 2015 Share #5 Posted August 16, 2015 Do you have better pictures of beogam set? Is there any size markings?
FT.Monmouth1943 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted August 16, 2015 Here's a some pictures of the back of the collar, what I believe are the remnants of size tags, and another full body picture using the flash this time. I'll also post better close ups of the front and back of the fatigues.

FT.Monmouth1943 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted August 16, 2015 Thank! The lighting in the first photos gave somewhat of a yellow tint.
Vpep Posted August 16, 2015 Share #12 Posted August 16, 2015 Great find. I have a hat that is identical to that with the exception of having first sergeant stripes embroidered on the front.
vintageproductions Posted August 16, 2015 Share #13 Posted August 16, 2015 The leopard / beo gam set looks original, not a hunting set of clothing
FT.Monmouth1943 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Share #14 Posted August 16, 2015 Thanks for confirming that it's real! Since I bought it in a lot with a civilian hunting jacket, I think the previous owner wore the jacket either hunting or at the range a little, but not the pants. Mitch Posted August 16, 2015 Share #15 Posted August 16, 2015 Also look good to me . Nice snag. 99% of the time it would have been hunting clothes but you did good. Regards, Mitch
