world war I nerd Posted April 14, 2018 Author #209 Posted April 14, 2018 It's been a while since I came across any look-a-likes. However, I found an image of a Spanish American War era soldier who happens to look like the actor Eion Bailey, who's probably best known for his portrayal of Private David Kenyon Webster in "Band of Brothers".

world war I nerd Posted April 14, 2018 Author #211 Posted April 14, 2018 Here's one more ... It's of a WW I motorcycle dispatch rider wearing "steam-punk" goggles who reminded me a bit of Jack Osbourne (spawn of Black Sabbath's Ozzy).
MastersMate Posted April 16, 2018 #212 Posted April 16, 2018 Actor Peter O'Toole, ' Whats New, Pussycat, Lawrence of Arabia, Lord Jim' might have been a crewman in the US Revenue Cutter McCulloch back around 1908..
patches Posted April 16, 2018 #213 Posted April 16, 2018 Actor Peter O'Toole, ' Whats New, Pussycat, Lawrence of Arabia, Lord Jim' might have been a crewman in the US Revenue Cutter McCulloch back around 1908.. +1, good find.
MastersMate Posted April 24, 2018 #214 Posted April 24, 2018 Giving the USRC McCulloch crew photo another going over, a couple of other faces popped out bearing a resemblence to actors of the present time. Ed Harris and Michael Jeter looked like they could be a part of that crew also..
krautpot Posted May 21, 2018 #215 Posted May 21, 2018 Jake and John. Put Mr. Gyllenhall on a strict diet like he had done it before, he would be very close.

patches Posted May 22, 2018 #220 Posted May 22, 2018 This guy kinda looks likes Elvis……my wife doesn’t think so. I thought it was him too when it first came into view.
abqpropguy Posted May 22, 2018 #221 Posted May 22, 2018 I thought it was him too when it first came into view.I ended up buying the photo regardless what my wife thinks......the similarity was to much to pass it by. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
world war I nerd Posted June 15, 2018 Author #222 Posted June 15, 2018 Another WW I era soldier who somewhat looks like a Hollywood celebrity. In this case, the celebrity happens to be the actor Viggo Mortensen
patches Posted August 25, 2018 #223 Posted August 25, 2018 Roger Daltrey in a 1965 WWI movie, NAH.....but, albeit the long hair, a pretty good resemblance though to this oft seen photo of this German Soldier
