But on a more serious note to this post, the GI is one John Moss, Jack as he's known (He's still with us at 92), Jack was a Texas National Guardsman with the 2nd Bn 131st Field Artillery, orignially part of the 36th Division, it's detached from the division in November 1941 and sent to out to the Philippines, but is diverted to Java in the Dutch East Indies, where it is ulimatley captured.
