Captain Chauncey Shackford,  WWI Navy Cross recipient and Naval Cadet in 1900 fighting the Moros as XO on a Philippines gunboat with Lt. Yates Stirling, Jr,  and Colonel Sherman Potter,   CO of the 4077th MASH, managing to keep from getting court-martialed while doing the same for Hawkeye and BJ during the Korean War. Not spot on, but better than most biopics casting.
