By far, this is not an exact look-a-like, but structurally speaking, the physiognomy, i.e. facial features of Colonel G.A. Taylor of the 128th FA Regiment (35th Division) are not unlike those of the avant-garde artist Salvadore Dali.

Came across this photo posted by member R Micheal in another topic, looking at it it occurred that this TD GI, Tech 5 Eugene Kay, looks a lot like Oliver Hardy, of Laurel and Hardy, a young Oliver Hardy.

He also kinda' looks like Britain's funny man - Benny Hill

Nah not really, here's a young Benny Hill, when Hill was in the Army in WWII, no paunch really, not like these two, T/5 Kay and Hardy.

Here's a photograph that when I first seen it in that Brian Davis book on German Uniforms and Insignia in 1978, that the one with the cigar always reminded me of Martin Sheen. Also the one behind him with the big smile reminded me of Ruth Buzzi of Rowan and Martin's Laugh In

While doing some research on the 410th BG, i stumbled across this picture. Is it just me or does he look like a younger Matt Damon?

Love it. Some great look alikes. I don't see it with the first one though - I'd say he looks more like Bill Murray :D

Glad you are enjoying it, it's a fun topic.
