devincu Posted August 28, 2015 Share #5 Posted August 28, 2015 There is a guy on eBay that has been making pin-back Combat Infatry badges by cutting the clutch-back posts off and soldering a pin in place. He usually gets the sterling too hot and it damages the blue enamel on the front of the badge. I bought one from him but sent it back after taking a close look at it. He sells one after another, and I know he has been confronted by forum members about his modifications. IMHO yours looks just like the one I purchased.
