Jim Hutton and Paula Prentiss, who made a few comedies together in the 60s.

Jagger above, seems to have ETO and PTO ribbons and logically the one after is maybe Victory ribbon..

Forrest Compton, who played Lt. Col. Ed Grey in several episodes of Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C., died last week at 94. Notice his Good Conduct Medal ribbon reflecting prior enlisted service and lack of National Defense Service Medal ribbon.

Elvis portrayed a Navy EOD diver in 1967's "Easy Come, Easy Go". The first ribbon looks like the Coast Guard Silver LIfesaving Medal followed by the National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

A nice Color still of Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra  in the 1945 Film Anchors Aweigh. They are about to be both awarded the Silver Star Medal for some kind of action just as they are to go ashore at Los Angeles on a 4 Day pass.

Another Color still of Sinatra after the award ceremony and out an around in Hollywood and  a Triple Ribbon Mount has now been acquired for the new addition of the SS Ribbon. Kelly has the same set up.

I thought his rank was commander not major but either way

Look the JAG Fandom Wiki.  It will show all of their final decorations and what they got them for.

Found more photos from the 1955 musical It's Always Fair Weather (I posted one photo of Gene Kelly also with co star Cyd Charisse in it in the Hollywood Patches 2 topic a few years back where you just see his patch and rank)

Gene Kelly as Master Sergeant  Ted Riley with Silver Star CIB et al. In the movie which takes place in October 1945 in New York he's a 3rd Infantry Division vet, though should really be in the summer of 45 since Kelly and the other two GI buddies are wearing Khakis by October they would be in the OD IKEs really.

Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, 35 years later. I find it interesting he has only the Silver Star. I'd have thought they'd have him wearing the Medal of Honor, or at least the Navy Cross. I'm also surprised he doesn't have a Distinguished Flying Cross, too. Have to give them credit. They seemed to go for realism instead of over-the-top God-tier superhero like most movies would.

Richard Widmark as Colonel. Tad Lawson Judgment at Nuremberg, a Combat Officer before being a JAG, his rack we see the Silver Star Purple Heart Army Commendation Ribbon America Defense American Campaign, and European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign.with 3 Battle Stars, no CIB, maybe he was  Engineer Officer, or a Tank Officer

A William Shatner, Captain Harrison Byers unlike Widmark's character, Shatner's is a relative non combat veteran JAG, here we see Army Commendation Ribbon, American Campaign, European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign with 2 Stars Devices.

Lee Marvin's Major Reisman, The Dirty Dozen, one inaccuracy we see, this takes place in the Spring of 1944, so that Army Commendation Ribbon would be wrong, that one comes out sometime n 1945,

One of an Air Policeman in Star Trek, Tomorrow is Yesterday, the episode where Kirk and Crew get thrown back in history, in time, to the 1960s via a Black Hole.

Quite a debacle ribbon wise,

Lets have some fun. You tell me which ones they are!
