MP25 Posted November 1, 2018 Share #13 Posted November 1, 2018 I realize your post is a little old, but I still would like to provide some additional information on this fantastic group. This group is post WWII. The 101st MP Bn. was redesignated as the 503rd MP Bn. in June of 1946. The 101st MP Bn. was re-activated in December, 1947 as part of the NY Nat'l Guard. That is when these items date to. When the unit was re-activated, they adopted the Military Police branch colors for all of their MP gear - totally non regulation. I have no idea how long they were able to get by with this before the brass put an end to it. Here are some items from an identified group I have from the 101st.
