dustin Posted July 20, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2015 Most know about the M1961 pistol belt for the M-14 mag pouches, these have a series of dome snaps between the grommets. Some people have in their collections WWII pistol belts with the same modification but is a mystery as to its application. I have found a WWII photo of that belt in use by Commander Joseph Clifton aboard the USS Saratoga, April 1944.
