Here is the telegram notifying his parents that the cablegram from abroad states that he was killed in action June 3rd, 1918. This telegram is dated June 14th, 1918.

One Hundred Years Ago Today, the War to End All Wars came to an end. One of the millions of casualties was Charles Francis Brown, a young marine from

St. Paul Minnesota who paid the ultimate price overseas fighting for his country. You will not be forgotten.

Today is November 11th so I thought that I would bring this back to the top for the 101st anniversary of the end of World War I.
