These are from the Feb.1942 issue of Fortune Magazine. Article speaks about high altitude flying and it's effects on the human body. This group of pictures describes the body's response to decreased oxygen levels at the various altitudes for a pilot not on supplemental oxygen. Note how the view of the Altimeter changes as the altitude increases.
