Patchcollector Posted October 26, 2017 Author Share #51 Posted October 26, 2017 Here is an unofficial insignia for the U.S. Army Operational Detachment A-125 (ODA-125), Company B, 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Abn). This team is based in Okinawa and is a SCUBA and Maritime Operations trained and missioned unit. The 1st SFGA is oriented towards the Pacific region, and is often tasked by PACOM. Currently, 1st SFGA and two of its battalions spend roughly six months out of every twelve deployed on a rotational bases to either Iraq as Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Arabian Peninsula, to Afghanistan as Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan, or to the Philippines as Joint Special Operations Task Force - Philippines. Besides Harry Pugh site, please check this site by Matt Force http://www.botrmilitaria.com/ You will find information and patches that are easily found because he has them all broken down by groups. Whatever he has listed are all original items and have found him to be very knowledgeable in this field. ODA-385 is a SCUBA and Maritime Operations trained and missioned unit with area of operations primarily in the Caribbean and West Africa under auspices of the European Command. This detachment is a Mountain operations missioned team. The 7th SFGA is theoretically oriented towards Latin America, Central America, and the Caribbean, i.e. SOUTHCOM. 7th SFGA is also responsible for North American or NORTHCOM. In practice, 7th SFGA and two of its battalions spend roughly six months out of every twelve deployed to Afghanistan as Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan.
