The helmet was given to a shelter of the homeless people by a highly ranked officer of the united air force ( not sure it was a general). This was a motivation to give more then the value of the helmet beqause it was money well spend to help people in need. The lady of the shelter was fery glad and excited that the helmet did good on a auction and after a couple of mails she was moved by the fact that someone else believe in the cause she stood for. With the helmet was a nametag included with the name "DOUGLAS" of the USAF 18th AGRGESSORS 354th Fighter wing based at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska flying the block 30 F-16C/D aircraft. I belief this is a HGU-55/P helmet with a MBU-20/P oxygen mask. Really like the colorful jets . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
