easterneagle87 Posted July 1, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2015 Shot of a US Navy Ship in dry Dock. I can not tell if the bow numbers say; ARS 5 or ARS 15 If it is ARS 5 it served in the Atlantic If it is the ARS 15, it served in the Pacific and was torpedoed by one of our own subs. easterneagle87 Posted July 1, 2015 Author Share #2 Posted July 1, 2015 I tried to scan and crop tighter. Placing the ruler on the scanner made the picture a little fuzzy.

Salvage Sailor Posted July 1, 2015 Share #4 Posted July 1, 2015 Aloha, That's not the EXTRACTOR (ARS-15), she was an Anchor class made by Colberg Boat works. This is a Diver class ARS made by Basalt. The USS DIVER was the first in the class, ARS-5 and this could be her or ESCAPE (ARS-6) or PRESERVER (ARS-8)
