ocsfollowme Posted June 15, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 15, 2015 I picked this lot up. I think the epaulettes are Merchant Marines. The seller had no clue what anything here was. I wanted the 1944 Victory patch. It has the letters "S" and "O" in it. On the ends of the "S" are the letters "K" and "L" and I have no clue what they could mean. Since I collect Home Front patches, anything war time with a "V" for victory will always find its way into my collection. Does anyone know what it stands for? ocsfollowme Posted June 15, 2015 Author Share #2 Posted June 15, 2015 Somehow a 1950s-1960s Armored patch got into the lot too.
ocsfollowme Posted June 15, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted June 15, 2015 There is a "P" on the 5 buttons. I think a mix of items are in the lot but I wasn't sure if the great picture would shed any light onto the Victory patch.

ocsfollowme Posted June 15, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted June 15, 2015 It appears that the shoulder boards are USN Yeoman Warrant Officers. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/80840-three-usn-officers-shoulder-boards/

quack Posted June 15, 2015 Share #7 Posted June 15, 2015 It looks like a school patch from one of the WW2 Youth mobilization programs -- I bet the SKOL lettering would identify the school.
Alex Boban Posted June 15, 2015 Share #8 Posted June 15, 2015 Hi, I don't have any info on the patch, but the "P" button are for a police officer visor cap.
