In 1999 I was able to walk the Belleau Wood battlefield with him and he knows the terrain and layout better than anyone in the world. General Conway made Gilles an honorary Marine and he's dedicated most of his life to preserving this battlefield. This documentary is slated to come out in 2017 for the centennial of Americas entrance into the war. It should be interesting.
