Baron3-6 Posted June 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2015 I'm a Hoosier by birth and wanted to add this location to the "what to see" there. The Indy 1500 Gunshow at the IN State Fairgrounds has always had a great deal of military surplus and weapon accessories. I admit I have not been there in a few years due to Uncle Sam, but it was always a good show. I would even venture to say it had more militaria than some of the National Gun Day shows in Louisville. * One little note for non-locals - the IN fairgrounds are not in the best area. Take your final rest stop before you get into Indianapolis proper. There are usually a lot of police doing walking patrols from the parking lot to the building, but I wouldn't leave anything of value or additional firearms sitting in my car. http://www.indy1500.com/
