Steve B. Posted May 21, 2015 Share #3 Posted May 21, 2015 Very nice! With all the marksmanship badges in my collection, I've never bothered to look at the back of the expert badge I wore on my uniform for many years! I'll have to go check it. I just looked: It is an N.S. Meyer 22M badge, 1/20 silver filled, and the rifle bar is marked G-23 1/20 SF.

Steve B. Posted May 26, 2015 Share #5 Posted May 26, 2015 Stefan- I first fired expert when I was stationed in Germany in 1975 or 1976. I fired expert every year until my retirement in 1993. I like your avatar. Your Grandfather looks like a proud and cpable soldier. Best regards- Steve

Steve B. Posted May 27, 2015 Share #9 Posted May 27, 2015 Stefan- Yes, we had to re-qualify (shoot) at least once a year. We had to take a physical training test at least once a year, too. Steve
