Anyone interested in trading some WWII cockpit instruments for a pair of F-80/T-33 rudder pedals? I'm trying to restore a P-47 control panel.

Been awhile since this one has been updated. I recently acquired a Boeing B-47 rudder pedal. This one is a starboard side pedal. I really like the design of this pedal and the size is huge. Not quite as big as the B-52A pedals. Here is a couple pics.

Here is a cut-away view of the crew stations on the B-47. All the way forward and on a lower level is the Bombardier/Navigator. On the top and elevated are the Pilot station then the Co-Pilot/Gunner station.

Been awhile since I had any new additions, but I got these two A-6 pedals today from an old friend. This is his pic. One is unused in mint condition, the other is used and is nicely painted with white and blue lettering.

F-4 Phantom right side rudder pedal. Not very flashy but a really historic aircraft. The bottom picture is on the USS Midway in 1986 and shows the last two USN F-4 (VF-151 and VF-161) launches from an aircraft carrier.

Hey, I'm new here. Not sure if this really qualifies as these are rudder bars, not pedals. Both are from World War One. The first is from an Austro-Hungarian Aviatic 'Berg' D.I and the second is from a British DH-4. Both were combat aircraft.

These are other early aero stuff are on my web site at https://www.aeroconservancy.com and my facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/aeroconservancy

Some great stuff on here for sure! I wanted to share my first pedal pickup, a set of S-2 Tracker pedals I found at a show this weekend. They are pretty dirty and dusty but I will get them cleaned up and put in the war room soon!

Thanks Chris. I will do that. What do you recommend? I was going to spray them with Formula 409 and scrub them with an old toothbrush to get all the dirt and grime off.

That is pretty much what I use, and usually have excellent results. Those pedals are pretty sturdy and you have to try real hard to damage them.

Hink441, nice pedal collection. I was wondering if you could do me a favor. Are you able to provide me with the dimensions of the A-10 rudder pedal?

I'm building an A-10 cockpit for a flight sim game and wish to make it as accurate as possible.

The attached photo shows what I'm looking for.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve.

The vertical measurement is 7"

The horizontal measurement is 6.5"

I hope this helps and good luck on your project.

Chris
