Collings Foundation at the William Lyon Air Museum in Orange county this weekend

If you've never been, it's pretty awesome. I don't know which planes will be on display, but last time they had a B24, B17, and P51. You could climb aboard the B24 and B17. You can also book a ride on all three planes. The William Lyon museum is pretty good too. On the way back from San Diego, Wednesday night, I saw the B-17 land at John Wayne airport. I had to do a double take

I flew on that in about 1996 during one of their typical tour stops.

 

It was absolutely worth every single penny I spent on it!
