R Michael Posted May 5, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 5, 2015 Just got this album in a trade today and was going thru it. Looks like from the description in the album it belonged to a member of bomb squadron 106 and from what I can find on the net after a cursory search it was very active in the South Pacific and from descriptions of the photos, the Phillipines as well. Posting a couple from the album to give you all a feel for the album. First. Earl Stanley Thompson KIA Munda airdrome. Mike

R Michael Posted May 5, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted May 5, 2015 There is a couple of interesting things going on in this photo. The Painted "eager" on the M1, The one on the left wearing the Japanese helmet. All pretty interesting. There are well over 100 photos in this album spanning Hawaii to Manila. Some really good content. Cannot wait to scan it all
