Pineapple inert grenade missed opportunity?

Saw this Pineapple Frag Grenade with a deal I bought some stuff from today. Did I miss a good opportunity? I passed it up as it just didn't seem right. The weight felt right, but I just didn't know.

 

Fuse Head is labeled M over a 7. There was no threads in the bottom. Painted black with no green or yellow showing through. The spoon was tinted blue, like training aides should be. THOUGHTS?
