Bodes Posted April 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2015 Forum Members, I came across a couple WW2 Australian made US officer's cap eagles....On the back are marked "KG Luke Melbourne Australia".....Along with those were three officer infantry crossed rifles....These too were marked KG Luke....As per typical the prices were more than I could justify to buy the lot....So instead, I purchased one cap eagle along with matched set (aged identically) of rifles....The rifles were $10/piece and the eagles $29...How rare are these and what generally is the going rate for Australian theater made US insignia....Any thoughts appreciated as usual....Bodes
VMI88 Posted April 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2015 That's a pretty good price, worth picking up all of it! You could probably sell the duplicates here and end up with yours for free.

Insigina Hunter Posted April 25, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 25, 2015 KG Luke is one of the few companies I collect insignias of, $10 for the pair of rifles was a good deal. The hat badges usually range $25-$50 so that was a fair price as well.
