Piratelou Posted April 20, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 20, 2015 I found this pin, amongst other things. I don't recognize it, at this point I'm questioning it's Military, but I was hoping someone could confirm it for me. No stamps or markings on it. twining540 Posted April 20, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2015 I believe it has to do with the 112th field artillery regiment.
KurtA Posted April 20, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 20, 2015 It's a New Jersey National Guard Signal Corps unit. I believe 44th Signal Company. Can you post a photo of the reverse?
Piratelou Posted April 20, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted April 20, 2015 I guess that would explain this screw back pin from the same lot?
twining540 Posted April 20, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 20, 2015 It is not the 112th field artillery. The lions head crest is used by the New Jersey army national guard. I'm not sure about the shield. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that.
KurtA Posted April 20, 2015 Share #6 Posted April 20, 2015 The two are unrelated. The disk is a pre WW2 Tank Infantry branch insignia.

KurtA Posted April 20, 2015 Share #10 Posted April 20, 2015 Thanks for your help. Forgive my lack of knowledge, but what does "DUI" stand for? Distinctive Unit Insignia. Also referred to as DI or Crest.
