Morlok Posted April 17, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2015 My dad just gave me this 2 days ago, and I thought I'd share a few pics. It's a Marksman Badge in the original box. Nothing special by itself, but the box makes it pretty unique! What do you think?! I think it's a keeper!

Tudorp Posted April 17, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 17, 2015 That is cool. I recently got a WWII era Marksman cross with the rifle hanger (Sterling). But I have also never seen one in the box. That is really cool find.
Morlok Posted April 18, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted April 18, 2015 Thanks! I'm not sure where he found it, but I like it! No markings on the reverse of the pin as I recall, but I'll double check it when I get home...
Austin_Militaria Posted April 18, 2015 Share #7 Posted April 18, 2015 That is one rare box. I doubt anyone on the forum could post another. Interesting it is called a Marksman Gunner, Etc. "Gunner" almost gives it a Air service reference, but I don't think they had any bars at that time for the Air Service. You need to post this in the Badges section. Steve B. Posted April 18, 2015 Share #9 Posted April 18, 2015 I believe the "gunner" title refers to artillery.
