WWII Roughout Boots?

Recommended Posts

Hello again,

I checked them out on Ebay. They are legitimate WWII boots, they must just be a manufacturing variation. I still think it may have something to do with size. I have a pair of unissued WWII roughout boots that have seven eyelets, I'll post pictures later.

Here is a link to a pair of Double-Buckle roughout boots also at auction on Ebay. They are a small size six and also have six eyelets. Most Double-Buckle boots in larger sizes have the more common seven eyelets.
