cutiger83 Posted April 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 16, 2015 I recently saw a show on the American Heroes Channel titled "One Day in Auschwitz". It is about Kitty Hart-Moxon who survived two years in Auschwitz. This is a very eye opening episode about the daily horrors suffered by so many for so long. Every eyewitness account from vets who were there at the liberation mentions the horrors they saw. This story is from someone who lived those horrors on a daily basis for two years. "Kitty Hart-Moxon is a Polish-English Holocaust survivor. She was sent to the Auschwitz labor camp in 1943 at the age of 16, where she survived for two years, and was also imprisoned at other camps." Major Z Posted April 16, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 16, 2015 My wife and I watched it and it is a very moving documentary. She is very brave for telling her story in such horrid detail to have the hope it won't happen again. I was glad to see her escorting curious teenagers through the camp so they could attempt to comprehend such a tragedy. I wish AHC would show it more often to get as much viewership and possible. Thanks for mentioning this show!
krautpot Posted April 21, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 21, 2015 The school class of my son plans to visit the camp coming summer. Tough program, but very important too.
