Sabrejet Posted April 13, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 13, 2015 A heads-up for those of you who might be interested. Adrian Cronauer (as famously portrayed by the late Robin Williams) will be presenting a special program about his VN experiences on BBC radio tonight at 2200hrs, UK time. It will be available to listen to "live" online, but allow for the 5-8hr time shift between the UK > US, depending upon where you are ( ie UK time is ahead of US time) Info can be found on the link below. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05q4jsj

para1957 Posted March 7, 2016 Share #5 Posted March 7, 2016 I was fortunate to meet Adrian Cronauner on a US airforce base in England I think around 2004. The Rolling Thunder Vietnam Group was invited to set up a display of Vietnam vehicles, uniforms and equipment as part of the remembrance events on the base. He was nothing like Robin Williams character in the film. He was a very quiet, pleasant man who was very humble about his time in Vietnam. Pleasure to have met him and a great gig. The US Airforce really looked after us.
