Infantry Grunt Posted April 12, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2015 I recently got this machete, but I know absolutely NOTHING about it. Just tell me everything you can!

SKIPH Posted April 12, 2015 Share #5 Posted April 12, 2015 The blades on these are 18". Clyde machetes are post WW2, which makes sense with the 1951 scabbard. In fact, seems that Clydes are fairly rare, just don't see them, and I have never seen a 50s dated scabbard before. So it's cool! SKIP
Still-A-Marine Posted April 12, 2015 Share #6 Posted April 12, 2015 I like it too. Never seen a Clyde in person, only pictures. Bill
Infantry Grunt Posted April 12, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted April 12, 2015 Alright, thanks! I'm glad it's not a common one, it just makes it that much cooler.
thorin6 Posted April 12, 2015 Share #8 Posted April 12, 2015 My Clyde Machete sits in a MARMAC scabbard dated 1966. I didn't know they were uncommon; I see one about every other month on ebay.
