all-bull Posted March 18, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 18, 2015 Hello, I am just curious if there is anything special about these USMC rank? They appear to be pretty cheaply made, and the only marking is a 587 on the back. What era are they from? Are they worth anything at all? I have about 20 or so. blitzkrieg gsd Posted March 20, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 20, 2015 They go on the collars of the tan shirts that are worn with a tie I'm pretty sure. If I'm not rite about this one of the guys will tell you.
Lee Ragan Posted March 20, 2015 Share #6 Posted March 20, 2015 These are not worn on the collars of a tan shirt with a tie. That shirt has cloth chevrons sewn on the sleeves. These metal chevrons are worn on utility shirt collars and sometimes on utility covers. (Unless there has been a recent change I'm unaware of.)
